About This Tour

Escape to Cayo Arena, also known as Paradise Island, for an unforgettable day of sun, sea, and snorkeling. Our journey begins with a scenic drive to the fishing village of Punta Rucia, where we’ll board a speedboat to the island. Once there, you’ll be mesmerized by the crystal-clear water and the shallow coral reefs that surround the sandbar. It feels like swimming in a giant natural aquarium! After snorkeling, we’ll navigate through the mystical mangroves of the National Park, learning about the local ecosystem. To end the day, we enjoy a delicious traditional Dominican lunch at a beachfront restaurant in Punta Rucia.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

The speedboat ride from Punta Rucia to Cayo Arena takes approximately 20 to 25 minutes. It’s a scenic and exciting ride across the turquoise bay.
The island is a natural sandbar with small thatched-roof huts (palapas) that provide some shade, but space is limited. We recommend bringing a hat and plenty of sunscreen.
Yes! The fish are very friendly and stay in the shallow areas (3-5 feet deep). You don't need to be an expert swimmer to enjoy the incredible marine life.
